Get involved

There are several ways you can get involved. Here's how:

1) Join:

From the first day you start teaching with Impact Teachers in the UK, you will be making a difference. When schools pay us to find you a job, this allows Impact Teachers to send children to school in Africa and fund education projects. All of this happens entirely without affecting your paycheck!

2) Go:

When you join Impact Teachers, not only are you embarking on a great adventure in the UK, but you also have the unique opportunity to sign up for the adventure of a lifetime: volunteering in Africa or India! All Impact Teachers have the opportunity to participate on the Impact trips during their school term breaks. Each term we go to Africa or India to observe classrooms and conduct training sessions with the local teachers. We also have a great time exploring the country and culture.

Teach in the UK, teaching jobs, working visa UK, teaching abroad Diary: Uganda

"Today was our first day at one of our primary schools where we started working in October. It is approximately 1 1/2 hours from the local home where we are staying, and it is a bumpy, dusty ride. As a result of the long daily journey, we occasionally need to stop for petrol. This morning we stopped and as we pulled up to the pump, we were advised that they had just run out. So, on to the next station where we managed to put 1 litre of petrol in the car before the electricity went out. I was hoping that 1 litre would be enough to get us to the school as I really was not in the mood to push the van down the hot dusty roads."  Go to blog
